Pierre Schegg

Pierre Schegg, PhD, is a Senior R&D Engineer at Caranx Medical since August 2022, focusing on cardiology and innovative mechatronics solutions. Prior experience includes serving as a PhD student at Inria from January 2019 to July 2022 under the guidance of Christian Duriez, alongside roles at Robocath as an R&D Engineer from November 2018 to May 2022, and as a research intern at Polytechnique Montréal in 2018, where Pierre designed and validated a versatile hand prosthesis. Additional internships at ECA Group, NTN-SNR, and ALT Technologies involved mechanical design and quality control. Educational credentials include a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology, an engineering diploma in Robotics from Centrale Nantes, and preparatory studies in Physics and Engineering Sciences from Lycée Janson-de-Sailly.
