Desmond Hang

Desmond Hang has a long and varied work experience. In 2005, they began their career as an IT Support at Bristol-Myers Squibb. In 2004, they were a Computing Research Assistant at the University of Melbourne. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as a Technical Specialist at Nielsen Online, followed by a Business Intelligence Analyst at Sensis Classifieds. In 2010, they were a Web/Business Analyst at iSelect and a Product Management & Strategy Director (Co-Founder) at ILOVEDISCOUNTS. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a Digital Marketing Analytics Advisor / Digital Performance & Optimisation Advisor at Suncorp. In 2017, they were an Alumni of the Melbourne Accelerator Program (MAP17) at the University of Melbourne. Finally, since 2016, they have been the CEO / Co-Founder of Carbar.

Desmond Hang completed their Masters in Software Systems Engineering at the University of Melbourne in 2005. Prior to that, they obtained an Engineering & Commerce degree from the same university in 2003, with a focus on Software Engineering and Finance. Before their university studies, Desmond attended Camberwell Grammar School and Garden International School, where they completed their high school education. Desmond also has experience in Digital Analytics & Optimisation and Personalisation, which they gained at Adobe Analytics / Omniture.
