David Vaughan

David Vaughan is an experienced Anaerobic Digestion Specialist currently employed at Carbogenics since August 2020, where David designs and oversees full-scale trials to validate the efficacy of CreChar, a novel biochar. In addition to this role, David serves as the Director of AD-DV Ltd and as an Anaerobic Digestion Consultant since March 2019. Previous positions include leading anaerobic digestion research at the Biorenewables Development Centre and serving as a Laboratory Technician at the University of York. David holds a PhD in Characterisation of Plant Cell Walls from the University of York and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Plant Biology from Newcastle University, complemented by a NEBOSH Certificate in Environmental Management.
