Robert Rouwen

Robert Rouwen has a solid background in the coating industry, with over 40 years of experience. robert started their career in 1980, working in various roles at both the contracting and paint supplier sides. Some of their responsibilities included consulting with ship owners and shipyards for different projects. robert also managed a multi-cultural workforce at Dubai Dry-docks for the Hull, Deck, Cargo Hold, and Tank Coating department. For over 18 years, Robert worked with Sigma Coatings and later Ameron Marine Coatings as their Marine Paint Distributor for the Middle East. Since 2014, they have been with AKZO NOBEL COATINGS LIMITED and Akzonobel Marine and Protective Coatings, where they served as a Senior Sales Executive and a Senior Technical Sales Representative respectively. Currently, they hold the position of Territory Manager at Carboline Company.
