Anne Nash

General Counsel, Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary at Carbon Activated

Anne Nash has been a Member Board of Trustees at the Los Angeles County Bar Association since 2021. Prior to that, they were General Counsel, Senior Vice President and Corporate Secretary at Carbon Activated Corp. from 2017 to 2021. From 2015 to 2017, they were an Attorney at Hammons & Associates Inc., where they drafted answers, complaints, demurrers, cross-complaints, motions for summary adjudication/judgment, motions for judgment on the pleadings, motions in limine, trial briefs, exhibit lists, witness lists, jury instructions, settlement agreements, comprehensive client reports that include liability exposure analysis, litigation strategy, and recommendations on economic case handling for matters concerning Construction Law, Insurance Coverage, Business Law and Product Liability. Anne also prepared written discovery, responses to written discovery, and deposition materials, and deposed and defended percipient witness depositions. From 2015 to 2017, they were also an Attorney at Cross Law Corporation, where they drafted motions, pleadings, discovery and internal research memoranda in the firm's business litigation practice for cases involving employment/labor law, real estate, and breach of contract issues, as well as drafted contracts and researched underlying law in corporate transactional matters. From 2012 to 2015, they were a Certified Law Clerk at Hamilton & McInnis LLP, where they drafted motions, pleadings, trusts, correspondence and memoranda, propounded and responded to discovery, and followed up with clients and claims representatives. Anne was also a Legal Volunteer at Girls Think Tank from 2012 to 2015, and a Summer Associate at Wilson Turner Kosmo LLP from 2012 to 2015, where they researched substantive and procedural issues relating to employment and contractual disputes, drafted legal memoranda on an array of product liability issues, including the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and Consumer Legal Remedies Act, and drafted pleadings in federal disability discrimination matter.

Anne Nash attended the University of San Diego from 2007 to 2011, graduating with a B.B.A in Business Administration. Anne then attended California Western School of Law from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained their Juris Doctor in Law. Additionally, Anne Nash holds a certification in WestlawNext.
