Philip Mulvey has extensive work experience in environmental and earth sciences. Philip is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Carbon Count since December 2020. Prior to that, they founded and served as the Executive Technical Director of Environmental Earth Sciences International from July 2017 to present. Philip also worked as the CEO of the same company from January 2004 to June 2017. In 2002, they worked as the Technical Director at the Centre for Contaminant Geoscience. From January 2007 to December 2020, they were the Technical Director at Carbon Count Pty Ltd, where they focused on the development and delivery of carbon sequestration systems for farms. Additionally, they served as the Director and Partner at 3D Ag Pty Ltd from January 2010 to November 2020, where they contributed to landscape repair and restoration. Prior to these roles, they held positions as the Managing Director and Manager at Environmental Earth Sciences from 1998 to 2004 and from 1992 to 1997, respectively.
Philip Mulvey's education history begins in 1976 when they enrolled at the University of Sydney. Philip pursued a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a specialization in soil science, completing their degree in 1980. Following this, from 1982 to 1985, Philip attended the University of New South Wales (UNSW) where they earned a Master of Applied Science in hydrogeology. Their studies at UNSW focused on hydrogeology, a field related to the study of groundwater and its availability.
