Allan Barr

Allan Barr is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Process Engineering Manager (Ops) at Carbon Engineering Ltd. since September 2023. Previously, Allan held various roles at SNOLAB from August 2009 to September 2023, including Director of Operations, where responsibilities involved coordinating facility resources and stakeholder communication, and Operations Manager, overseeing the maintenance of both surface and underground infrastructure and ensuring safety management. Prior to SNOLAB, Allan co-founded and served as President of ARC Climbing and Yoga from July 2007 to September 2022. Allan also gained early experience at Vale as Shift Foreman and Control Room Operator, as well as a Process Metallurgy EIT from June 2003 to July 2009. Allan earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of British Columbia in May 2003.
