Hamid E. Nia

Hamid E. Nia, DO, MBA, currently serves as the Area Medical Director at Carbon Health since September 2023. Prior to this role, Hamid held positions at Weill Cornell Medicine, including Assistant Medical Director in the Department of Emergency Medicine and Healthcare Leadership and Management Fellow. Hamid's experience also includes working as an Emergency Medicine Attending Physician at JFK Medical Center and completing a residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Educational background includes an MBA and MS in Healthcare Policy and Research from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, a fellowship in Hospital Administration from Weill Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences, and a Doctorate of Osteopathy from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine. An undergraduate degree in Human Physiology was obtained from UC San Diego.
