Laurent van Wulpen

Laurent Van Wulpen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategic development and operations within the chemical and engineering sectors. Currently serving as the Global Director of Strategic Development at Methanex Corporation since June 2019, Laurent also holds a position as a Board Member at Carbon Recycling International. Previous roles include Director of Operations and Manager of Operations at Methanex Europe, where responsibilities encompassed EU supply chain management, procurement, and logistics. Laurent's career at Methanex began in 2003, with various roles leading to a solid background in customer service, logistics, account management, and procurement. Laurent earned a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Antwerp, a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Universidad de Cantabria, and an Engineer's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Ghent.
