Gianluca Zanutta

Gianluca Zanutta has a diverse range of work experience in the engineering field. Gianluca began their career as a General Member on the Robotics Team 254, where they gained hands-on experience in manufacturing and assembly of robots. Gianluca then became the Operations Director for the same team, overseeing the manufacturing process and leading a team of students.

Gianluca also worked as a Machinist Assistant at Polytec Products Corporation, where they independently manufactured precision medical equipment parts and collaborated with other machinists on CNC machines.

Gianluca interned at Johnson & Johnson as a Design Engineer Intern, where they evaluated product designs, developed test methods, and designed custom test fixtures for mechanical testing.

Most recently, Gianluca joined Carbon as a Mechanical Engineer II, although specific details about their role are not provided.

In addition to their professional experience, Gianluca also worked as a Research Student at Purdue University, collaborating on the development of a robotic system and investigating optical identification algorithms using a camera system.

Gianluca Zanutta obtained their high school diploma from Bellarmine Preparatory School in the years 2014 to 2018. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Purdue University from 2018 to 2022. In October 2019, Gianluca also obtained a certification as a Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate (CSWA) from Dassault Systèmes.
