Romain Champourlier

Romain Champourlier is a Co-Founder at Carbonfact since 2021. Prior to that, they were a Volunteer at Covidliste for a brief period in 2021. From 2013 to 2020, Romain worked at JobTeaser, starting as the CTO and later becoming the VP of Engineering. Romain was responsible for managing the engineering team and creating an environment for scaling. Additionally, they were a Partner and CTO at Learning Club from 2011 to 2016, where they helped build and distribute successful mobile apps. Romain also served as the Cofounder and CTO of Avdice from 2011 to 2013, a referral application for freelancing. Romain's early career included roles as an Entrepreneur in an ebook/elearning company project from 2010 to 2011, a Consultant at PW Consultants from 2006 to 2010, and an External Consultant and Project Manager in Electronic Card Transactions at BNP Paribas from 2007 to 2010. Romain also had an internship at France Telecom in 2006, where they worked on network security and risk analysis.

From 2020 to 2021, Romain attended the Institut des Futurs souhaitables and obtained a degree called LabSession #26 in the field of Prospective.

Between 2003 and 2006, Romain pursued a Master's Degree in Computer Science at ENSICAEN - Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs de Caen. Their areas of study included computer science, electronic transactions, and information systems security.

In 2005 and 2006, Romain studied at Université de Caen Normandie, where they earned a Master's degree in Computer Science Research.

Additionally, Romain has obtained several certifications. In September 2014, they completed the "Getting and Cleaning Data" course from Coursera. In July 2014, they completed the "R Programming" course and "The Data Scientist’s Toolbox" course, both from Coursera as well. In May 2013, they took the "CS188.1X Artificial Intelligence" course from edX. Lastly, in December 2012, they completed both the "CS169.2X Software as a Service" and "CS169.1X Software as a Service" courses, also from edX. The institutions offering these certifications were Coursera and edX.
