Annie Yuan

Annie Yuan is the Finance Manager at Carbonix, a position they have held since 2019. Prior to that, they were the Financial Controller at Nesuto Stadium Hotel and Apartments from 2016 to 2019. In this role, they were responsible for implementing accounting policies and procedures, re-organizing department structure and re-allocating job functions to increase efficiency. Annie also communicated effectively with overseas investors, company directors, variance department heads, and other regional finance departments to ensure that the financial function and reports were in line with the company's overall objectives.

Yuan is a highly skilled financial professional with experience in all aspects of finance, including mentoring and motivating finance staff, leading month-end processes, reviewing financial results, providing cash flow analysis, budget analysis, and consolidating and commenting on financial and statistical results at the group level. Annie is also experienced in working with software companies and network support consultants to resolve IT issues and ensure that systems are well maintained.

In their current role at Carbonix, Annie Yuan is responsible for managing the finance function and overseeing all financial aspects of the business. Annie works closely with the CEO and other senior managers to ensure that the company meets its financial goals and objectives.

Annie Yuan's educational career includes earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Technology Sydney in the field of accounting and finance, as well as a certificate in accounting from Hong Kong Baptist University.

They are on a team with Dario Valenza - Founder, Mike Foster - Head of Sales and Marketing, and Nathan Kirchner - CTO. and John Wei - Procurement Officer reports to Annie Yuan. Annie Yuan reports to Philip van der Burg, CEO.
