Alireza Zarrabian

Alireza Zarrabian has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Alireza most recently served as the Head of Engineering Department at Carbonova Corp. since June 2022. Prior to that, they were an MSc student at the University of Calgary from January 2020 to June 2022.

Before pursuing their master's degree, Alireza worked at MAPNA Turbine Engineering and Manufacturing Company (TUGA) for over a decade. Alireza held multiple positions including Machining Manager from June 2016 to January 2020, Engineering Project Manager from March 2014 to June 2016, and Production Engineer from December 2006 to March 2014.

During their early career, Alireza worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Cara Tehran Noavar from November 2005 to December 2006. Alireza also gained experience at Alfam Industrial Group where they served as a Maintenance Supervisor from August 2004 to May 2005 and as an R&D Engineer from March 2003 to August 2004.

Alireza Zarrabian completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic from 1997 to 2001. Alireza then pursued further education and obtained a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology between 2001 and 2004. Recently, from 2020 to 2022, Alireza enrolled in the University of Calgary and successfully completed their Master of Science (MS) in Chemical Engineering.
