Robert Calcote has over three decades of work experience in various leadership roles in the medical device industry. Robert most recently served as the Vice President of Operations and Compliance at Cardiac Dimensions. Prior to that, they worked as an Operations and Quality Systems Consultant at Medical Device Consulting. Robert also held the position of Vice President of Operations at RS Medical and ConforMIS. Robert has extensive experience in operations management, having served as the Senior Vice President of Operations at Archus Orthopedics, Vice President of Operations at Medtronic Spinal Dynamics, and Director of Manufacturing at C. R. Bard (IMPRA). Robert began their career at IMPRA, Inc., where they held multiple roles, including Senior Manager Operations/Manufacturing Manager, Assistant Engineering Manager/Engineering Supervisor, and Production Engineer. Robert also worked as a Contract Engineer and Engineering Technician at Steelcase (formerly Vecta).
Robert Calcote earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington, which they attended from 1980 to 1986. Robert further pursued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from 1986 to 1989. Additionally, they obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Villanova University in October 2013.
