Dr. Adewale Abimbola has a diverse range of work experience in the field of civil engineering and construction. Dr Adewale is currently working as a Lecturer/Assessor in Construction & Civil Engineering at Cardiff and Vale College. Dr Adewale'sresponsibilities include teaching and facilitating learning on various civil engineering and construction modules, as well as assessing students' performance and knowledge to ensure they meet the required standards and learning objectives.

Dr Adewale Abimbola obtained their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, between 2004 and 2010. Prior to that, they completed their O-Level education in Science at Wesley College of Science, Ibadan, Nigeria, from 1999 to 2002.
In 2012, Dr Abimbola pursued a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of East London, completing it in 2013. Dr Adewale then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Civil Engineering from the same university between 2014 and 2018.
