Sarah Davies

Sarah Davies has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sarah has recently joined Cardiff and Vale College as a Work based Learning Quality Officer in March 2022. Prior to this, Sarah worked at XR Training as a Business Development Manager from November 2021 to March 2022. Sarah also served as an Area Recruiter - Wales at Remit Training from September 2014 to December 2021. Sarah's experience also includes working as an Opportunities Officer at ACT Training from April 2011 to August 2014. Sarah started their career as a Part-time Lecturer at Coleg Gwent in October 2009, where they taught various courses related to health and social care. Before that, Sarah worked as a Modern Apprenticeship Officer at CITB from July 2004 to October 2009.

Sarah Davies started their education in 1990 at Coleg Gwent, Pontypool & Usk campus, where they obtained a BTEC National in Business & Finance. Sarah then went on to study at Southampton Institute of HE from 1992 to 1994, earning an HND in Business & Finance. In 1994, they continued their studies at UWCN, Newport, and completed a BSc Hons Business Administration from 1994 to 1996. In 2008, Sarah pursued a PGCE/Cert Ed Post 16 Qualification at UWCN, focusing on Communication. In 2010, they attended Coleg Gwent again, this time for Basic Skills in Adult Literacy. Finally, in 2013, Sarah briefly studied at ACT Training for an ILM certification in Team Leading.
