Emma McKinley

Senior Research Fellow at Cardiff University

Emma McKinley is a Senior Research Fellow at Cardiff University since June 2016, with a focus on the RESILCOAST project. Previously, Emma served as a Research Fellow at Cardiff University, as well as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow and CAMIS researcher at the University of Chichester, where involvement included the EU INTERREG IVA CAMIS project aimed at business clustering in the maritime sector. Emma's early research at Bournemouth University encompassed marine spatial planning and the impact of MPA management on marine ecosystems. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Marine Citizenship from Bournemouth University, an MSc in Marine Environmental Protection from Bangor University, and a BSc in Marine Biology from the University of Stirling, supplemented by a PG Cert in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education from the University of Chichester.
