Marta Olszewska

Marta Olszewska has extensive work experience in various roles. Marta is currently working as a QA Lead at CardioSignal by Precordior since January 2022. Prior to that, they served as a QA Lead at Vaadin from March 2019 to November 2021. Marta also worked as a Software Tester at Collector Bank from August 2018 to March 2019.

In terms of research positions, Marta worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Åbo Akademi University. During their time there, they were involved in multiple projects and roles. From September 2013 to December 2017, they worked in the Distributed Systems Laboratory as part of the ADVICeS project, investigating the merging of formal methodologies and agile processes. From January 2013 to August 2013, they worked in the Software Engineering laboratory within the CLOUD project, focusing on metrics and measurements for Agile/Lean transformation. From January 2012 to January 2013, Marta continued their research on metrics and measurements for evaluation of quality and Agile methodology impact. Marta also served as a PhD Student at the university from August 2006 to December 2011.

Before their research positions, Marta gained practical experience in various organizations. In 2006, they briefly worked at Projmors as an Office Manager and Contract Engineer Assistant, where they set up an office and collaborated with a consortium. In 2005, they worked at Unforgiven.pl as a Database Designer and Developer, and also had a similar role at Primary School No. 42 in Gdansk. In 2004, Marta worked at Prad as a Database Designer and Developer, and at Impuls where they designed and developed databases and set up servers.

Marta Olszewska's education history includes a PhD program at Åbo Akademi University from 2006 to 2010, where they focused on Computer Science and Software Quality. In 2009, they attended an INFORTE seminar in Computer Science. Additionally, in 2009, they also participated in another INFORTE seminar, studying Information Technology. In 2008, Marta received a school certificate and study points from MOD 2008 in the field of Software Engineering. In 2007, they attended the Lipari Summer School, studying Information Technology. Finally, from 2000 to 2005, Marta Olszewska obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Information Technology from the University of Gdansk.
