Henrik Gudmundsson

Henrik Gudmundsson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Henrik is currently working as a Senior Frontend Developer at Cardlay, where they are responsible for the development of the administration interface in a Card- and Expense management platform. Their role includes developing React applications in TypeScript with Redux, React Query, unit testing in Jest, and integration testing with Cypress.

Prior to their current position, Henrik worked as a Founder at Gimmie Money, where they started the company and managed its operations from March 2020 to November 2021.

Henrik also has experience as a Software Developer at Cybercom Group from June 2018 to November 2021, where they worked on software development projects.

Before that, Henrik worked at IKEA as a Lead Software Developer from June 2018 to November 2021. Their responsibilities included leading a team and developing IKEA's consumer-facing planning tools for the web using modern web technologies such as React, Redux, Jest, and Webpack. Henrik also worked on devops-related tasks using Jenkins, Terraform, Azure DevOps pipelines, and Azure Functions.

Henrik's experience also includes working as a Frontend Developer at Lime Technologies from June 2015 to June 2018. Henrik was involved in implementing complex, high-demand, and responsive single-page applications using AngularJS and practiced test-driven development with automated unit testing.

Furthermore, Henrik gained experience as a Summer Worker at Sony Mobile Communications in 2014. Henrik conducted issue tracking and fixes for the Sony Sketch app and assisted with various code maintenance tasks.

Prior to their career in software development, Henrik worked as an Intern in Marketing Communications at Diligentia AB, one of Sweden's largest real estate companies, for 2.5 months in 2013. Henrik was responsible for initiating and executing communication-related tasks, including writing external press releases, administering internal communication, and creating a pilot study for a communication effort.

Henrik also worked as a Consultant in Social Media at Nyföretagarcentrum Göteborg from January to May 2012, where they provided consulting services in social media.

Additionally, they have experience as a Reporter and Producer at Sveriges Radio from July 2008 to August 2011.

Earlier in their career, Henrik worked at Erikshjälpen Second Hand as a Furniture Delivery and Customer Service representative. Their responsibilities included customer delivery of furniture and light truck driving, as well as customer service and interior product placement in the shop. Henrik held this position from October 2007 to August 2009.

Henrik Gudmundsson began their education in 2004 at Gymnasieskolan Spyken, where they pursued studies in Natural Sciences, Mathematics, and Computer programming. Henrik completed their secondary education at Spyken in 2007. In 2009, Henrik pursued a course in Screenplay Writing for film at Gotland University, and in 2010, they attended Lund University, where they studied Project Management and Entrepreneurship. From 2011 to 2013, Henrik pursued their Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies at the University of Gothenburg. Their educational journey continued at Linnaeus University from 2013 to 2015, where they focused on becoming a Webbprogrammerare, completing a 120 hp program.
