Jon Ledwith

Jon Ledwith is an accomplished electrical engineer with a diverse background spanning over three decades in the design, development, and research of electronics across various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Engineer at Nordson SONOSCAN since April 2020, Jon specializes in ultrasonic microscopy defect analysis systems, focusing on advanced technologies such as Xilinx Zynq UltraScale+ and FPGA/MpSoC. As an independent contractor for CareBand, Jon has been involved in creating personal and patient monitoring devices. Previous roles include contract electrical engineering at Astronics CSC, senior staff engineering at Optimal Design, and extensive experience at Tellabs, where responsibilities ranged from feasibility analysis to managing a hardware development team. Jon holds a BSEE in Integrated Electronics from the University of Illinois Chicago and an AS in Chemistry from the College of Lake County.
