Mark Lapinski

Mark Lapinski is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in application development and engineering management. Currently serving as the Director of Application Development at Career Education Corporation since May 2014, Mark oversees applications supporting over $1 billion in student activity and manages a multi-million dollar engineering budget while leading diverse teams in an Agile environment. Previously, Mark held roles including Enterprise Web & Mobile Technology Director at Redbox, where strategic direction for ecommerce systems was provided for a $2 billion retailer, and Application Development Manager at Ticketmaster, contributing to the development of the resale platform and key e-commerce architecture. Mark's early career included roles at CCH as an Architect Consultant and Lead Developer, and as a .NET Web Engineer Consultant at Greenbrier & Russel. Mark holds a Certificate in Java from Loyola University Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Finance & Economics from Northern Illinois University.
