Jessica Lam

Jessica Lam is currently the VP of People at Career Karma. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Talent Acquisition at 15Five from June 2019 to March 2021.

At 15Five, Jessica was responsible for end-to-end recruitment processes and hyper-growth scaling across 6 global offices in US and Europe. In their first year, they hired 120+ employees. By the 18 month mark, that number had grown to 160+. Jessica achieved a 95% Offer to Acceptance rate with 11 total candidate offer declines.

Jessica also coached and developed a diverse and high-performing distributed team of Recruiters, Talent Partners, Operations and Coordinators to achieve higher levels of business impact and improve performance metrics.

Some of their notable accomplishments at 15Five include scaling the recruiting infrastructure for hyper-growth hiring (3x growth from Series A, 2x growth from Series B), building the first recruiting analytics dashboard, developing an interview training and development program, and creating an internal Knowledge Center for all things Talent.

Jessica Lam attended San Francisco State University for both their undergraduate and graduate degrees. Jessica earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and then a Master's Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
