Valerie Maangi

Valerie Maangi has worked in a variety of roles over the past decade. In 2010, they were a Tutor at Southern Arkansas University, where they ran errands, organized spreadsheets, collected data from various graduate schools, and marked quizzes. In 2014, they worked as an EKG Technician at SPECTOCOR ENTERPRISE SERVICES, LLC, where they made and received phone calls, educated patients on the use of event monitors, obtained baseline ECG transmissions, interpreted and edited ECG rhythms and tracings, and notified physicians of cardiac arrhythmias. From 2015 to 2018, Valerie was a Mortuary Affairs Specialist in the US Army Reserves, where they inventoried and safeguarded effects of soldiers fallen in the line of duty, located and identified human remains in the field, and ensured safe transport of the deceased and their belongings. Most recently, Valerie has been a Product Support Specialist at Thomson Reuters since 2018, where they provide support to customers via phone, email, and/or chat leveraging internal resources in a timely manner, works on cases/tickets according to established departmental practices, and documents all interactions following standard operating procedures. Valerie is currently employed as a Software QA Engineer at Careerist, a position they started in 2022.

Valerie Maangi attended Southern Arkansas University from 2009 to 2013, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Dentistry Studies. Prior to that, they attended Xaverian Primary School.
