Sander de Hosson

Sander de Hosson is an experienced medical professional specializing in palliative care and pulmonary medicine. Sander co-founded the care platform Carend in 2020, aimed at enhancing palliative care through high-quality education and events. Sander has been a member of the palliative team and a pulmonary specialist at Wilhelmina Ziekenhuis Assen since 2012, where Sander also coordinates clinical rotations for medical students. In addition to various ambassador roles for organizations such as Stichting Komma and Bedside Singers Nederland, Sander has authored a book titled "Slotcouplet," exploring compassion in palliative care. Sander's prior experience includes being a columnist, long-term engagement in several hospitals, and receiving recognition as Alumnus of the Year from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. Education began at Christelijk College Nassau Veluwe, culminating in a Master of Science in Medicine from the University of Groningen.
