Sharon Gipson

Sharon Gipson has a diverse work experience in the field of web development and programming. Sharon started their career in 2002 by establishing their own company, Gipson Web Design LLC, where they provided services such as customer service, sales, accounting, and web development. During this time, they specialized in search engine optimization, e-commerce, and web database design. Sharon also consulted for computers, web hosting, and email services.

In 2006, Sharon worked as an instructor at Gateway Technical College, teaching introductory courses on microcomputer programming with Visual Basic.net. In 2007, they joined Tek Systems as a web developer, where they maintained projects for the cityofracine.org website. Later that year, they worked as a web developer at Beeline Computer.

From 2007 to 2015, Sharon worked at Brunk Industries, Inc. as a DBA/Programmer. Their responsibilities included programming web applications for the intranet, administering and designing SharePoint, and database administration for SQL, including creating and modifying SSRS reports.

From 2015 to 2019, Sharon worked at CoServ as a .Net Developer 3 and project team lead. Sharon was involved in deploying projects from initial design to production and played a key role in automating a manual billing process.

Starting in 2019, Sharon joined Stericycle as an Application Developer. Their responsibilities included creating and modifying Microsoft SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, and tables, as well as modifying web applications and web services for enhancements and bug fixes. Sharon also created and modified web Soap/Rest API services.

Sharon's most recent work experience is at Carenet Health, starting in 2023, where they serve as an Application Developer. Their role involves working on web, API, Windows, and database projects. Sharon possesses excellent communication skills, a quick ability to learn new software and techniques, and is accustomed to working independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
