Matthew Bliven M.D., Mba, Faafp

Matthew Bliven, MD, MBA, FAAFP has over 25 years of work experience in the medical field. Matthew started their career in 1996 as a Family Physician at Physicians Medical Center and remained in this role until 2017. In 2017, they joined Willamette Valley Medical Center as a Hospitalist, and later became the Chief of Staff from January 2021 to December 2022. Currently, Matthew is working as the Medical Director at CareOregon, a position they started in July 2022.

Matthew Bliven, MD, MBA, FAAFP completed their Bachelor's degree in Biology, General from Willamette University in 1989. Matthew then pursued a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Health and Science jobs, graduating in 1993. In 2016, they enrolled at Oregon Health & Science University and obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Healthcare in 2019.
