David Benedict

David Benedict's work experience includes serving as the Chief Operating Officer at CarepathRx since December 2020. Prior to this, they held various roles at Chartwell Pennsylvania, LP, including Chief Operating Officer, Regional Pharmacy Director, Director of Pharmacy Operations, Clinical Pharmacy Manager, Director of Pharmacy, Clinical Pharmacy Supervisor, and Staff Pharmacist. David also worked as a Staff Pharmacist at St Clair Memorial Hospital. David has a background in academia, having served as a Contracted Professor/Lab Instructor at Duquesne University School of Pharmacy and an Adjunct Professor at Duquesne University. David was also a Guest Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy. In addition, David worked as a Pharmacy Consultant at Chartiers Mental Health.

David Benedict has a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Duquesne University. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Pharmacy from the same institution. Additionally, they hold several certifications, including being a member of the Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group, the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), the American Society for Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN), the National Home Infusion Association, the ASHP, and the Pennsylvania Society of Hospital Pharmacists. David is also a member of the Speaking Bureau at Fujisawa Healthcare Inc.
