Victor Barnes, CPA

Victor Barnes, CPA, has a diverse work experience in accounting and finance. Victor is currently the Vice President Finance at CarePayment, where they have been working since October 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Controller at CarePayment from January 2020 to October 2022.

Before joining CarePayment, Victor worked at Carr, Riggs & Ingram from 2015 to 2020. During their time there, they held various roles, including Manager from October 2019 to January 2020, Supervising Senior from October 2018 to October 2019, Senior Accountant from October 2016 to October 2018, and Staff Accountant from January 2015 to September 2016.

Victor's earlier work experience includes serving as a Graduate Assistant at Middle Tennessee State University in 2014 and as a Tax Assistant at Galtney Group Accounting, LLC from January 2014 to May 2014.

Additionally, Victor gained valuable experience as an Accounting Intern at Haven Behavioral Healthcare in 2013 and 2012.

Victor Barnes, CPA, has a Master of Accountancy from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), which they obtained in 2014. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting from MTSU, completing their undergraduate studies from 2010 to 2013. In addition to their education, Victor holds certifications as a Certified Information Technology Professional from AICPA and as a Certified Public Accountant.
