Gabriela Olivares Silva is a Patent Specialist at Carey, with extensive experience in advising leading international companies in the Pharma, Veterinary, Food, and Agriculture industries on protection strategies for Biotechnology technologies. Since July 2013, responsibilities have included conducting prior art and freedom-to-operate searches, developing patentability opinions, and drafting over 2500 patent applications across South America, Europe, and the United States. Prior to this role, Gabriela served as an Apprentice to Patent Specialist, developing local patent applications.
