Anna Amine is currently a Bio-X Research Fellow and Biochemistry Research Intern at Stanford University's Department of Chemistry, working on creating fibers that replicate human skin tissue to evaluate drug efficacy on lung carcinoma cell lines. In addition to research, Anna serves as a Teaching Assistant for a health care leadership course and is a Public Health Ambassador for CareYaya, facilitating connections between elderly patients and student caregivers. Anna utilizes empathetic communication skills as a Crisis Counselor at Crisis Text Line, providing support during crises. Previous research experiences include internships focused on materials science at institutions such as Stanford University School of Engineering, University of Waterloo, Peking University, and Argonne National Laboratory, contributing to multiple research papers on battery technologies and materials efficiency. Anna is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Art at Stanford University.
