Ain Alias

Ain Alias is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sourcing and procurement, currently serving as the Chemical & Ingredient Sourcing Lead at Cargill since August 2016, after holding the position of Associate Buyer. Prior to joining Cargill, Ain worked at PANTAI HOLDINGS BERHAD as a Group Procurement Executive, managing the tendering process and purchase order code creation. Ain's career began at Top Glove, progressing through roles from Purchasing Executive to Production Chemist and QA/Lab Chemist, focusing on procurement analysis, vendor collaboration, product quality control, and specification development. Ain also has a background in aquaculture research, having completed a trainee program at Brackishwater Aquaculture Research Center. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from the National University of Malaysia, completed in 2008.
