Zoe Scopa

Zoe Scopa is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the mining industry. Currently serving as Engineering Department Manager and previously as Mine Project Engineer at Cargill since January 2021, Zoe has contributed to various projects within the field. Prior roles include Field Engineer at Frontier-Kemper Constructors, Inc. from June 2019 to January 2021, and Mining Engineering Intern at Rio Tinto during the summer of 2018. Additional experience includes an Undergraduate Research Assistant position at the Virginia Center for Coal and Energy Research and research roles at the GeoEnergy Research Centre and Virginia Tech. Zoe holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering from Virginia Tech, completed in 2019.
