Carmelo Asegurado Ramos

Carmelo Asegurado Ramos is an experienced supply chain management professional currently serving as the Founder and President of the Asociación de Directivos de Cadena de Suministro (aDiCS) since October 2024. Carmelo also holds a position in the supply chain and procurement department at Carglass® España. Previously, Carmelo was the Chief Supply Chain Officer at BIGMAT IBERIA and Head of Supply Chain at Makro Autoservicio Mayorista S.A. From October 2015 to January 2020, Carmelo served as Supply Chain and Quality Director at BRICOMART, and prior experience includes significant roles such as LATAM Supply Chain Development VP at Falabella and EMEA Logistics Service Director at CHEP. Carmelo’s career in supply chain also includes various positions at El Corte Inglés and Tyco Electronics. Academically, Carmelo holds an Executive MBA from IESE Business School and a degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Valladolid.
