Niko Turabelidze has an extensive work experience in the fields of logistics, management consulting and digital transformation. In 2020, they co-founded CARGON, an on-demand logistics platform connecting shippers with carriers using intellectual pricing algorithms. During their tenure, they developed a concept and designed an algorithm to create the platform, obtained a Georgia Startup Grant of $50,000, enhanced the product features to comply with market requirements, implemented digital tools for prompt data collection and up-to-date price generation, initiated the creation the first fully automated LTL (less-than-load) solution for digital freight in CIS, surpassed $2,000,000 annual turnover in 2021, included CARGON in the 500 Startups Accelerator winner list, secured a $200,000 grant from The World Bank, and developed a strategy for further expansion on the CIS and Turkish markets.
Prior to this, Niko worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Milnort Group, one of the top 10 producers of frozen semi-finished products in the region. During their time there, they led the introduction of 30+ successful new products to the market, worked out comprehensive strategy for manufacturing and management system integration and company digitalisation, designed and implemented a custom Production Planning software which led to almost 15% increase in the overall productivity across 150+ products, drove the implementation of the Food Delivery and Lunch Delivery service mobile applications, developed bots for price collections at online selling points and a custom-made price recommendation digital tool, introduced Big Data tools for demand planning and BI tools for KPI monitoring, increased sales of the main portfolio products by 15%, and reduced the share of unprofitable products in the portfolio from 6% to less than 1%.
Niko also worked as the CEO of ATROOT, a boutique management consulting company specializing in strategy, operations, and IT. During their tenure, they successfully integrated digital tools for effective enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management, installed existing digital projects and developed customised ones into fully- fledged Business Intelligence applications, accelerated the growth of 25 small businesses by fostering digitalisation, resulting in up to 35% cost optimisation and multi-million revenue growth, and designed and implemented a custom-made resource management tool, boosting the efficiency by over 60%.
