Dan Catterson has an extensive work experience in the advertising and creative industry. Dan started their career as a Copywriter at West & Zajac Advertising, where they gained experience working with small, local clients. Dan then worked as a Copywriter at CareerBuilder.com before joining Cramer Krasselt, where they had the opportunity to work on various projects for brands such as AirTran Airways, Corona Extra, and Porsche. Dan later joined Leo Burnett as a Senior Copywriter, working on global brands like Coca-Cola and Samsung. Dan then moved on to Energy BBDO as an ACD/Writer and Cramer-Krasselt as a Senior Writer. Dan also worked as a Fantasy Football Writer/Correspondent at FantasyPros.com. Dan has been an Instructor at Chicago Portfolio School since 2011. Most recently, Dan has been working as the Head of Brand Creative Content at Carhartt, leading a team and contributing to the growth of the brand.
Dan Catterson attended Providence Catholic High School before attending Eastern Illinois University from 1999 to 2000. Dan then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Marketing at Columbia College Chicago from 2002 to 2004. Later, they attended the Chicago Portfolio School from 2006 to 2007, where they obtained a degree in Copywriting with a focus on Advertising Copywriting.
