Foster Carr has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. In 1990, they established Foster Carr MD, a primary care practice that focuses on patient self-management and accepts various types of insurance. In 2013, they co-founded GoGoHealth LLC, where they developed a physician controlled workflow and rules engine for asynchronous virtual visits, as well as a platform called Telemedical.com. From 2015, Carr served as the Medical Director and Addiction Medicine Specialist at Euclid Medical and Mental Health Clinic. Currently, Carr holds the position of Chief Medical Officer at CARI Health, where they previously worked as a Clinical Advisor.
Foster Carr began their education in 1978 at Harvard University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Biochemical Sciences. Foster completed their undergraduate studies in 1982. Following this, from 1982 to 1988, they attended Stanford University School of Medicine, earning their MD degree in Medicine.
