Asha-Gaye has held positions in various organizations such as the Caribbean Biodiversity Fund, Office of the Prime Minister & Ministry of Justice in Jamaica, Zebras Unite, The University of the West Indies, United Nations, and CARICOM Secretariat. Asha-Gaye has also pursued higher education at Syracuse University, The University of the West Indies, University of Oxford, and Campion College.
