Michelle Hinkson-Cox

Michelle Hinkson-Cox is an experienced professional in the field of Theatre Arts, currently serving as the Coordinator for the Associate Degree in Theatre Arts at Barbados Community College since September 2014. In this role, Michelle manages the Theatre department, overseeing student entry processes, course revisions, financial planning, and production management. Additionally, Michelle holds positions as Assistant Chief Examiner for the Caribbean Examinations Council and Artistic Director of Rhema Artistic Consultants & Theatre Services since 2005. Previous experience includes serving as Sectoral Specialist for the Government of Barbados, President of the Caribbean Network of Art Presenters, Theatre Coordinator for CARIFESTA XIII, and Cultural Officer for the National Cultural Foundation of Barbados. Educated with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts and a Master of Arts in Applied Drama, Michelle is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Theatre Studies at the University of Glasgow.
