Shawn Yazdani, MD, FACC, FSCAI, is an experienced interventional cardiologist currently employed at Carient Heart & Vascular since February 2018. Prior roles include serving as a physician at Inova Medical Group from October 2015 to February 2018 and co-director of the Structural Heart Program at Inova Heart and Vascular Institute from August 2016 to January 2018. Shawn Yazdani was also a senior partner at Carient Heart & Vascular from July 2000 to November 2015. Early training included a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Mount Sinai Health System and cardiology fellowship at Columbia New York Presbyterian, where medical residency also occurred. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from New York University School of Medicine and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Biochemistry from New York University.
