Matt Barr

Matt Barr has over 20 years of experience in various finance and accounting roles. Matt started their career at Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP as a Senior Manager in Healthcare. Later, they joined Duke University Health System as the Internal Audit Manager. In 2016, they moved to Centra Health as the Corporate Controller and was subsequently promoted to Vice President of Finance. Currently, Matt is employed by Carilion Clinic, where they have held the positions of Vice President - Accounting Services and Vice President - Support Services - Revenue Cycle and Accounting Services.

Matt Barr, MHL, CPA, holds a Master in Healthcare Leadership (MHL) degree from Wake Forest University, which they obtained from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting at West Virginia Wesleyan College from 1995 to 1999.
