Scott Blankenship has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and positions. Scott began their career in 1997 as a Facility Management Coordinator at Roanoke City Schools, where they worked until 2008. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as a Project Manager at Carilion Clinic. Scott then joined Vshe as a District Representative & State Treasurer from 2008 to 2013. Returning to Carilion Clinic in 2012, Scott held various roles including Engineering and Maintenance Manager, Director of Facility Support Services, and Senior Director. Currently, they serve as the Interim Vice President of Facility Management at Carilion Clinic.
Scott Blankenship attended Owensboro Community and Technical College, where they studied Hospital and Health Care Facilities Administration/Management starting in 2014. Prior to that, they attended Indiana University Bloomington in 2012 and 2013. In 2009 and 2010, Scott studied Energy Management at NC State. Scott'seducation history also includes attending Virginia Commonwealth University from 1995 to 1997. Scott Blankenship has an additional certification as a Certified Healthcare Facility Manager from ASHE.
