Dennis Jenkins

Dennis Jenkins is currently the Chief Operations Officer at Caritas Family Solutions. Dennis has over 20 years of experience in the Human Resources field.

Dennis began their career as the Director of Human Resources at Life Skills in May 1994. Dennis was with the company for 14 years before moving on to Epworth Children & Family Services in December 2001. Dennis served as the Director of Human Resources at Epworth for 8 years before joining Community Link, Inc. in May 2009. Dennis was with Community Link for 2 years before being promoted to their current position.

During their time as the Director of Human Resources, Dennis has been responsible for managing the day to day employee relations issues, developing new personnel practices and guidelines, negotiating benefits, and overseeing the recruitment process. Dennis has also established a consistent compensation structure and policy, revised over 70 job descriptions, and implemented a performance management tool. In addition, Dennis has created a staff recognition and appreciation committee, implemented a balanced scorecard, and developed a succession plan.

Some individuals on their team include Elke Hansen - Regional Director – Belleville & East Alton, Don Gottlob - Director of Facilities and Plant Operations, and Alexis Sparks - Regional Director, Carterville & Mt. Vernon. They work with Mark Becker - Director of Foster Care, Megan Kirk - Director of Behavioral Health Services, and Mike Philbin - Director of Residential Services at St. John’s Bosco Children’s Center. Dennis Jenkins reports to Gary R. Huelsmann, Chief Executive Officer.
