Martina Weber

Martina Weber has a diverse work experience in the field of international cooperation and development. MARTINA started their career in 2005 as an Advisor for Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) at the German Development Service (DED). In 2008, they joined SolidarMed as a Programme Officer in Zambia and Tanzania, and later became the Country Director from 2012 to 2018. Since 2018, Martina has been working at Caritas Schweiz, first as the Programme Director for Tajikistan, and currently as the Head of Operations for International Cooperation.

Martina Weber's education history begins with their completion of a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree at Leeds Beckett University from the years 2012 to 2016. During this time, their field of study was focused on Public Health & Health Promotion. Prior to this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Applied Sciences, Ravensburg-Weingarten in Germany from 2001 to 2004. MARTINA'sfield of study at this institution was Social- and Healthcare Management. Martina Weber's earliest known degree is a Dipl. Sozpäd. FH, which they obtained from the Georg-Simon-Ohm-University of Applied Sciences in Nürnberg, Germany. MARTINA studied Social Work at this institution from 1996 to 2001.

In addition to their educational background, Martina Weber has also obtained two certifications in Project Management. In September 2016, they received the PRINCE2 Foundation certificate in Project Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice. During the same month and year, they also obtained the PRINCE2 Practitioner certificate in Project Management from the same institution.
