Rtn. Sudarshan Ramaiah

Rtn. Sudarshan Ramaiah has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Rtn. Sudarshan is currently employed at ZEISS Group as the Head of Procurement & Project Purchase. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Procurement and Head of Indirect Procurement at ZEISS Group, where they led a cross-functional team to complete the 'Resilience Project' aimed at minimizing the impact of the Covid-19 crisis. Rtn. Sudarshan successfully optimized costs, resulting in no salary cuts for employees and achieving savings of Rs 27.8 Cr.

Before joining ZEISS Group, Sudarshan was a Mathematics & Science Teacher at Teach India (Yuth for Seva) from 2009 to 2021. During this time, they acquired valuable teaching experience. In 2018, they took on the role of Founder Unit Head at Kidzee Preschool JP Nagar, where they set up and kick-started the preschool before handing it over to their spouse.

Sudarshan's career also includes roles at Philips Lighting and Philips, where they served as a Manager and Dy. Manager, respectively. At Philips Lighting, they successfully handled indirect procurement and led a team of tactical buyers. Rtn. Sudarshan also participated in Hoshin programs and executed continuous improvement projects.

Additionally, Sudarshan has held positions at Philips Wellcentive as an Assistant Manager, Accenture as a Team Lead Tactical Sourcing, Infosys BPM as a Process Specialist, Ozone Refregeration Systems as a Managing Partner, and KKMP ITI as a Trainer Electronics.

Rtn. Sudarshan Ramaiah completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Operations-Supply Chain Management from Indira Gandhi National Open University from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a MSc in Electronic Science with a focus on Electronics from Bangalore University between 1998 and 2000. Additionally, Rtn. Ramaiah obtained a certification in "MDP - Leading with Purpose" from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, in 2022.
