Stephen Tsanga

Stephen Tsanga has extensive experience in data governance and management. Stephen currently works as the Head of Data Governance Enablement at ZEISS Group, where they are responsible for establishing a data governance organization and defining roles and responsibilities. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Data Governance at ZEISS Group, where they focused on making the data platform trusted, governed, and secure for all data processing activities.

Before joining ZEISS Group, Stephen worked at Daimler Truck AG as the Deputy Chief Data Officer and Global Project Leader for Data Governance. Stephen also had notable roles at EvoBus GmbH (Daimler Buses), where they served as a Digital Product Manager and was responsible for cross-divisional project management and the development of innovative digital solutions. Stephen also worked as an Electrical Engineer in Research and Development at EvoBus GmbH.

Stephen began their career at Daimler AG as a CAReer Trainee in The Talent Program.

Stephen Tsanga completed their education at various institutions. From 2004 to 2007, they attended Grenoble INP - UGA, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, as well as a Diploma of Engineering in Electrical Engineering. Stephen then went on to study at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 2007 to 2009, earning a degree in Electrical Engineering, specifically a Dpl. Ing.
