Allen Jones

Allen Jones has a diverse work experience in the medical technology industry. Allen currently works as the Director of Global Product Management, Retinal Imaging at ZEISS Medical Technology, where they lead product management and strategic marketing for optical coherence tomography (OCT) and fundus imaging product lines. Allen is responsible for developing a team of Product Managers and defining and implementing a digital health vision for retinal imaging products.

Prior to their current role, Allen served as the Head of Global Product Management, OCT Imaging at ZEISS Medical Technology. In this position, they led product management for OCT imaging and was instrumental in the successful launch of the CIRRUS 6000 OCT and the repositioning of portfolio products.

Before joining ZEISS, Allen worked as the Vice President of Product Management at Verana Health (formerly DigiSight Technologies), a digital health startup focused on eye care. Allen built and led product management, hardware engineering, and quality management teams.

Earlier in their career, Allen held senior product management roles at ZEISS Medical Technology, where they led global product management and strategic marketing for various medical imaging systems.

Additionally, they gained experience as a Global Product Manager at Abbott Cardiovascular, where they led product management and marketing for the HeartMate II Left Ventricular Assist System.

Throughout their career, Allen has demonstrated strong leadership skills, successfully launching new products, driving revenue growth, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Allen Jones holds an MBA degree in Marketing from Duke University, The Fuqua School of Business. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In addition to their formal education, Allen has acquired several certifications, including the Duke Leadership Program and Certified Scrum Product Owner. Allen also completed programs in Product Platform and Product Family Design from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and User Interaction Design from Cooper.
