Bob Gibson

Bob Gibson has extensive work experience in the medical technology industry. Bob most recently served as the VP, Head of Product & Solutions, Ophthalmic Diagnostics Devices at ZEISS Medical Technology starting in January 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Director Product Management Ophthalmic Devices at ZEISS from December 2018 to February 2022.

Before joining ZEISS, Bob worked at Topcon Medical Systems for over 15 years. Bob held various roles including VP, Marketing, Product Planning and Management, VP Global Marketing, and Vice President of Marketing from November 2016 to February 2022.

Earlier in their career, Bob served as the Vice President of Marketing at PSS from October 2001 to August 2005. Bob started their career at Elan Diagnostics in June 1997 as the Sr. VP of Sales and Marketing, a role they held until July 2001.

Bob Gibson earned their BA in History and Political Science from The Citadel, from 1977 to 1981. Later, from 1986 to 1988, they pursued an MBA in Marketing and Finance at the University of West Florida - College of Business.
