Ying Zhang

Ying Zhang is a Senior Chemist at Carlisle Polyurethane Systems, specializing in research and development of specialty polyurethanes focused on CASE and foam applications since November 2019. Prior to this role, Ying Zhang served as a Polymer Research Chemist at Boral, conducting R&D in polyurethane formulations from December 2013 to November 2019. Ying Zhang also held postdoctoral positions at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where innovative polymeric resin adhesives were designed, and Iowa State University, focusing on the properties of polymer solutions in biodiesel. Earlier experience includes research at Kwansei Gakuin University, analyzing the structure-property relationships of polymer thin films. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Polymer Chemistry and Physics from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Materials Science from Zhengzhou University.
