Daniel Ruiz Iruela has extensive experience in research and development, particularly in international collaboration and innovation management. Currently serving as Subdirector General de Programas Internacionales de Investigación y Relaciones Institucionales at Instituto de Salud Carlos III since August 2020, Daniel has held various roles, including technical advisor and project coordinator. Prior to this, Daniel worked as European Project Manager for the Fundación Española para la Ciencia y la Tecnología, managing initiatives under Horizon 2020. Additional positions include Senior Innovation Consultant at Tecnologías Avanzadas Inspiralia, Innovation Access Coordinator at INNOSUNS Coaching & Capital, and International R&D Consultant at CDTI. Daniel's background also includes experience in the pharmaceutical sector with Eli Lilly and early research roles in both green chemistry and analytical chemistry. Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and a Master's degree in Research and Development in chemical and pharmaceutical industries from Universidad de Zaragoza and InKemia IUCT Group, respectively.
