Isra Cruz

Isra Cruz is a highly accomplished scientific expert with extensive experience in the field of public health, particularly in neglected tropical diseases. Currently serving on the Scientific Expert Portfolio Advisory Panel at the Global Health Innovative Technology (GHIT) Fund and as a Scientific Advisor for Stichting Dioraphte, Isra also contributes as a Scientific Advisor for the World Health Organization’s Diagnostic Technical Advisory Group for Neglected Tropical Diseases. With a leadership role at the Instituto de Salud Carlos III as Head of International Health and ongoing advisory positions at Spotlab and FIND, Isra’s career reflects a strong commitment to scientific consulting and research. Isra holds a PhD in Parasitology-Molecular Biology and Biochemistry, along with Bachelor’s degrees in Biochemistry and Biology from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
